Born in 1956 here in Guadalalupe, Costa Rica Nury did not start her serious painting career until twelve years ago once her three sons were old enough to do without her so much.

Nury started showing her work in 1999 all over San Jose and has much success since.

As well as painting, Nury enjoys dance and acting as artistic outlets as well. She actually played a role in a local television production called “La Vencedora Puleria”.

Nury works in oils, acrylics and watercolors. Working in acrylics is especially rewarding, as the texturing possible is perfect.

er family and the human being as part of creation inspire Nury. Given encouragement by her teachers, Juan MoHernadez, Gilberto Aquino and Edgar Cruz Nury’s work is a special addition to Regalame Art Gallery and Gift Shop.
