Renate Bale was born in 1962 in Feldkirch, in the west of Austria. She began to draw and paint at an early age and was later influenced by famous Austrian artists such as Gustav Klimt and Friedensreich Hundertwasser. In 1994 she moved to Costa Rica Where she started to paint ceramics. Her artistic roots, the colorful influence of the tropic and her general joy for life are reflected in her works. You can find her every year at the “Festival de Arte” in San Jose.

ach unique Bale creation is hand painted, numbered and signed by the artist. All ceramic pieces are microwave and oven resistant. To preserve the quality of the finish, ceramic pieces should be washed by hand. Please allow two months for special orders.
